Matan thinks in systems. While most people in marketing focus on what's in front of them — the ad, the audience, the creative — Matan focuses on what's underneath: how data flows, where attribution breaks down, and what the numbers actually mean once you strip away the noise. That orientation is what makes him an exceptional Marketing Operations Architect.
Before co-founding Terrific Digital in 2017, Matan worked in data analytics and marketing operations at a growth-stage tech company, where he was responsible for building the reporting infrastructure that leadership used to make budget decisions. He saw firsthand how poorly designed attribution systems could mislead an entire organization — and developed a deep conviction that measurability isn't a nice-to-have, it's the foundation everything else rests on.
At Terrific Digital, he built the operational backbone that allowed the agency to scale: standardized tracking setups, cross-channel attribution frameworks, and reporting dashboards that turned raw campaign data into clear business insights. When clients said "we can't tell what's working," that was Matan's cue to go in and fix the measurement layer before optimizing anything else.
At Slash, he applies the same philosophy to every client engagement. Before a single ad goes live, the tracking is airtight. Every dollar is mapped to an outcome.
